MSS release 2.0 allows our partners to keep their content up to date and relevant. Partners can now use our GetRemovedContentList API to see what content is no longer in circulation.

Release 2.0 also allows content providers and content syndicators to properly manage SEO optimizations through inclusion of Canonical URL metadata in our content pages.

If you have not tried Illustrator, check it out here. Illustrator provides an interactive environment for you to experience MSS capabilities. Also, since it is connected to our live services, Illustrator can serve as a valuable troubleshooting tool.

In support of Windows Phone 7, the MSS team has worked closely with Nokia to make Microsoft Support content available to their online users and call center support agents.  You can see it in action here.

While continuing to provide great experiences for our existing partners, MSS is expanding to provide syndicated content to Microsoft external partners and OEMs as well. Look for updates and improvements during the second half of FY12 that continue to improve relevance, ease of adoption, and deliver on end-to-end scenarios for our partners.
