MSS Release 1.8.5 fixes bugs and issues reported by our community of users.
In addition, we have added beta support for MATS content (also known as “FixIt” content). For more information on how to use this new content source, see our updated SDK.
If you have not tried Illustrator, check it out here. Illustrator provides an interactive environment for you to experience MSS capabilities. Also, since it is connected to our live services, Illustrator can serve as a valuable troubleshooting tool.

In support of Windows Phone 7, the MSS team has worked closely with Nokia to make Microsoft Support content available to their online users and call center support agents.  You can see it in action here.

The MSS team continually strives to improve our existing capabilities and add new ones.  We have a lot more exciting ideas for FY12.  Among them, we plan to add additional content types, like step-by-step wizards, and new content sources to our full content and link based capabilities.   Look for our next release in January, 2012.
